PayLeap Gateway Solutions Launches a Secure, Fully Customizable Payment Form Capability for Ecommerce Merchants

Posted on 19 July 2012 by CPollitt

LeapLock Secure Checkout gives merchants total control over their payment flow while reducing their scope for PCI compliance.

PayLeap, an industry leading payment gateway platform and service delivery company, has launched an innovative secure hosted payments form capability called LeapLock Secure Checkout, built into its transaction management platform. This new technology was presented at the opening of the Midwest Acquirers Association (MWAA) show in Chicago as part of an innovation competition, and placed second as a finalist.

LeapLock Secure Checkout was developed in response to other industry solutions that appear to be a more secure method of checkout for online merchants but present a high security risk due to the merchant server still establishing a payment session with the consumer.

Using an embedded iframe, the patent-pending technology of LeapLock can easily and seamlessly be integrated into the checkout process through a simple API. The merchant servers send a simple request to PayLeap which programmatically creates a customized hosted payments page that matches the styling look and feel of the current checkout environment. LeapLock then initiates the payment session between the cardholder thus eliminating the merchant servers from the payment equation.

“Using LeapLock, the merchant servers send a simple request only containing instructions on what the form should look like. So they never transmit or see any cardholder data,” says Aaron McClone, CTO of PayLeap. “This reduces much of the security risks associated with PCI compliance.”

“Many online merchants continue to face challenges with redirects and poor user experiences resulting in lost sales,” says Rod Katzfey, COO of PayLeap. “Merchants who currently use a seamless checkout process have much higher security risks and costs of being PCI compliant. LeapLock eliminates the weaknesses of other solutions by completely removing the merchant servers from the payment equation while providing a branded, seamless user experience.”

PayLeap is working with shopping carts and software developers to integrate the LeapLock technology, and have several merchants utilizing it as well.

Raw Thrills has formed a partnership with PayLeap, an industry leading online payment technology and service delivery company, to handle their electronic card transactions through the PayLeap payment gateway platform.

Raw Thrills develops interactive entertainment products for the coin-operated, consumer and casino gaming markets. Their most popular arcade game, Big Buck Hunter, a hunting game first released in 2000, spawned a series of sequels and currently has over 20,000 locations throughout the US and Canada. There are also widespread tournaments, trophy clubs, and hunting parties connected online. The series of games has won numerous awards, received outstanding attention in the media, and continues to thrive as some of the top games in the industry.

Raw Thrills plans to roll out an additional 1500 locations by the end of 2012.

“PayLeap was able to deliver a solution that was perfect for our business model, enabling us to easily setup and roll out multiple locations quickly and efficiently,” says George Petro, President of Raw Thrills studio Play Mechanix.

“With an average game play transaction of around $7.50, being able to accept credit cards is essential to our growth and success. Their payment gateway technology provides us the versatility we needed, including a scalable platform, robust backend reporting, and reliable real-time transaction processing.”

“Being able to provide a payment solution for a company like Raw Thrills shows the versatility of using our payment gateway solution, which traditionally has been known for online ecommerce transactions,” says Rod Katzfey, COO of PayLeap. “Raw Thrills is an innovative company that continues to push the bar on arcade gameplay technology. PayLeap Makes Leap to First Data for Canadian Payment Solutions

Posted on 05 June 2012 by CPollitt

PayLeap expands payment services to Canada to support the needs of their customers and partners.

PayLeap announced today they have partnered with First Data Corporation, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing, to provide Canadian payment processing services to merchant customers utilizing the PayLeap Gateway platform.

This agreement enables PayLeap to process transactions for eCommerce merchants in Canada, a market it had not previously operated in. First Data brings its expertise in the Canadian market, and will provide PayLeap and their clients with a full suite of merchant processing products and services such as credit and debit processing, point-of-sale, and eCommerce solutions.

“Expanding our connectivity to Canada allows us to deliver a much needed solution to both our customers and partners,” said Rod Katzfey, COO, PayLeap. “Many of our customers want the option to accept Canadian payments, so having a payment processor like First Data that can deliver the connectivity is a huge benefit. Around 20 percent of our potential customers are looking for international payment options. Canadian eCommerce sales in 2011 were around $20 billion, and are forecast to be over $30 billion by 2015. We are now able to provide our customers access to those online buyers.”

PayLeap recently announced their $1 million “P4” program for application developers to help offset development costs associated with certifying through PayLeap’s APIs. PayLeap’s connectivity to First Data Canada would extend their program offering to the developer community seeking Canadian payment solutions.

“Our expertise in the payments industry and the Canadian market will assist PayLeap in its expansion into Canada,” said Brian Green, SVP, First Data in Canada. “As eCommerce sales in Canada continue to accelerate, both organizations are well poised to help merchants wanting to sell goods and services in Canada to increase their sales and revenue.”

PayLeap Launches $1 Million Funding for Application Development Partners

Posted on 22 May 2012 by CPollitt

P4 designed to boost application certifications through the PayLeap Payment Gateway platform.

Warsaw, IN (PRWEB) May 22, 2012

PayLeap launched a new program today at the TechCrunch Disrupt show in New York to help fund development of applications connecting to their payment gateway platform. The PayLeap Preferred Partner Program (P4), will help offset development costs associated with certifying through PayLeap’s APIs and help cover co-marketing and promotional costs. The PayLeap platform handles all types of electronic payments, including credit, debit, check/ACH, gift card, and EBT, and is connected to the First Data, TSYS, Paymentech, and Global payment processing platforms. PayLeap is currently integrated into many of the most popular shopping carts, such as Big Commerce, CSCart, and 3DCart, as well as various software applications tied to electronic payments.

“There are a lot of innovative application developers out there who are a great fit to integrate the PayLeap payment technology. Not just eCommerce, but mobile, healthcare, bill presentment, inventory management systems, and pretty much anywhere electronic payments are needed,” said Rod Katzfey, COO. “P4 offsets much of the developer costs associated with certifying to PayLeap and co-marketing our product capabilities. As an example, Clinix developed an online patient billing system for physicians and integrated PayLeap to eliminate manual processes and paperwork. They now offer their clients a streamlined billing and payment collection system which speeds up and increases their cash-flow. The opportunities are endless.”

Partners and developers looking for an all-in-one solution that can deliver both a payment gateway and merchant account can utilize the PayLeap platform alongside Affinity Payments for setup and fulfillment. Affinity is a registered ISO of Wells Fargo, and is the fulfillment arm for PayLeap partners who require merchant service setup and support. An ongoing residual stream is provided to referral partners with active merchant accounts. “Many web and application developers today refer their customers to some of the larger payment gateway companies, with little or nothing in return. PayLeap Preferred Partners collect ongoing residuals through a referral relationship with us” says Katzfey. “It’s a triple win for the merchant, the partner, and PayLeap.”

Companies and developers with hardware or software solutions looking to integrate electronic payments or switch to a preferred partner are encouraged to submit their requests online at http://www.payleap.com/p4. All eligible P4 applicants must certify their applications through PayLeap.
