Raw Thrills and its Play Mechanix studio, developers of coin-operated interactive entertainment products, is pleased to announce their partnership with PayLeap to provide electronic card payment solutions to over 4000 Big Buck Hunter games.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 19, 2012
Raw Thrills has formed a partnership with PayLeap, an industry leading online payment technology and service delivery company, to handle their electronic card transactions through the PayLeap payment gateway platform.
Raw Thrills develops interactive entertainment products for the coin-operated, consumer and casino gaming markets. Their most popular arcade game, Big Buck Hunter, a hunting game first released in 2000, spawned a series of sequels and currently has over 20,000 locations throughout the US and Canada. There are also widespread tournaments, trophy clubs, and hunting parties connected online. The series of games has won numerous awards, received outstanding attention in the media, and continues to thrive as some of the top games in the industry.
PayLeap will be handling the card payments processing for Raw Thrills locations throughout the US and Canada, enabling their newest title, Big Buck HD, to connect through various wireless networks into the payment gateway. Raw Thrills plans to roll out an additional 1500 locations by the end of 2012.
“PayLeap was able to deliver a solution that was perfect for our business model, enabling us to easily setup and roll out multiple locations quickly and efficiently,” says George Petro, President of Raw Thrills studio Play Mechanix.
“With an average game play transaction of around $7.50, being able to accept credit cards is essential to our growth and success. Their payment gateway technology provides us the versatility we needed, including a scalable platform, robust backend reporting, and reliable real-time transaction processing.”
“Being able to provide a payment solution for a company like Raw Thrills shows the versatility of using our payment gateway solution, which traditionally has been known for online ecommerce transactions,” says Rod Katzfey, COO of PayLeap. “Raw Thrills is an innovative company that continues to push the bar on arcade gameplay technology. We’re proud to be able to deliver them a secure, low-cost solution for both the U.S. and Canadian market.”
PayLeap’s recent announcement on their partnership with First Data expands their payment services like credit and debit processing, point-of-sale, and eCommerce solutions throughout Canada.
